BlueCat Cisco ACI v24.1 also introduces the following changes to existing features:
New BlueCat Cisco ACI log file
Activities and events from BlueCat Cisco ACI are now logged in two files, stored
within the Gateway logs
folder that was configured during
installation:
Events for scheduled discoveries are logged to the file
cisco_aci.log
.All other BlueCat Cisco ACI events (including those for non-scheduled discoveries) are logged to the general
messages.log
file.
Changes to UDF names in BAM
In BAM, ACI devices from tenants (that were imported as BAM devices), and ACI
networks (that were imported as IPv4 blocks and networks) used User-Defined Files
(UDFs) named DN to store the ACI Bridge Domain name. This UDF has been renamed to
Bridge Domain
(BD
). Cisco ACI Fabric devices
continue to use the UDF DN ("domain name").
BlueCat Address Manager 9.3.x support sunsetted
As of BlueCat Cisco ACI v24.1, support for BlueCat Address Manager (BAM) 9.3.x has been sunsetted. BlueCat will no longer provide support for using BlueCat Cisco ACI with Integrity 9.3.x. If you are using Integrity 9.3.x, we recommend that you upgrade to a higher version as soon as possbile.
