The disk monitoring service runs on all data nodes and checks for the disk usage. If the used disk space on a node exceeds 95%, the service turns off the Enable Logging Update Records in the Configuration tab. When this setting is turned off, the Distributed DDNS service does not write new DNS updates to the database.

  1. If it's not already displayed, click the Database Nodes tab.

  2. In the Manage DB Nodes table, in the Disk Monitor column, click the Settings gear icon for the row of the node you want to manage. This icon will be different colors (typically  green) depending on the service status.

  3. In the configuration window, enter the following information:
    ---
    DISK_MONITOR_INTERVALS = 300
    Where the parameter represents the following:
    • DISK_MONITOR_INTERVALS: The interval at which the data node disk is monitored (in seconds). By default, the service checks the disk every 300 seconds (5 minutes).
  4. When you're done, click Save to save the Disk Monitor service configuration.

  5. After the changes are saved, click Start to start the service and add it to the Distributed DDNS Service Node.
