After a fresh deployment, update, or major configuration change in a Distributed DDNS system, the Distributed DDNS system needs time to synchronize its data among all database and service nodes. To see if synchronization is completed for a node, you can check the node's log messages:

  • On a database node: Open the sync_data.log file and look for the following message:

zone_transfer_update (trigger: interval[x:xx:xx], next run at: xxxx-xx-xx xx:xx:xx UTC)" executed successfully
  • On a service node: After synchronization of the database node on the same device completes (as validated above the previous message), open the sync_ddns_config.log file and look for the following message:

Read config interval set to x second(s)
