The sudden rise in awareness of the use and capabilities of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) solutions has brought with it concerns about how these technologies are used by software vendors as they build and deploy their solutions. Specific concerns have been raised about 1) the algorithms used in the production of these solutions, and 2) what data is being used to support the development of the solutions (known as “training data”). This document will describe the current state of AI/ML usage at BlueCat with respect to these factors.
