Updating Service Point platform versions - BlueCat Edge - Service Point v4.x.x

When viewing the Service Point information, the Version column will display an informational icon next to the Service Point version to indicate that a new platform version is available for upgrade.

1. In the top navigation bar, click and select Service points.
2. Click the name of the service point to load additional details
3. If a platform update is available, click Update to update the Service Point platform version. A confirmation window opens.
4. Under Available Versions, select the Service Point platform version to apply.
5. Review the changes and click Update to apply the updates.
   Warning:

   • Performing a version update might reboot the service point, resulting in a temporary outage.
   • When an update is performed on a service point or any services deployed to the service point, all service are shut down when the update is in progress. The services are restarted once the update is complete.

Once the platform update is initiated, you can monitor the status of the Service Point platform updates from the service point details page or the individual service point details pages.
