To configure Edge Resolver, you must perform the following:
- Create a new service point that will be used for the Edge Resolver service. For more information, refer to Service Point v4.
- Create a new Discovery configuration that contains
information about the Address Manager configuration, including the Configuration
and DNS View that contains the DNS information that you would like to discover.
For more information, refer to Creating discovery configurations.Note: Once you create a discovery configuration, a discovered domain list is automatically created to capture DNS information from the specified Address Manager configurations.
- Create a new Discovery instance that associates one or more discovery configurations to a discovery instance, and deploy it to a service point. For more information, refer to Deploying discovery instances.
- Create a new Discovered namespace that includes the discovery configurations to resolve DNS queries from. For more information, refer to Creating discovered namespaces.
- Create or update a site to use the created discovered namespace. For more information, refer to Creating a site.
- Deploy DNS resolver service to the service point. For more information, refer to DNS resolver services.
