You can view additional information about that service point and other deployed service points that are active and online.

  1. In the top navigation bar, click and select Service points (v4).
  2. Select an existing service point to bring up additional information about the service point:
    • Name: The name of the service point.
    • Description: The description of the service point.
    • Last sync: The timestamp of the last received diagnostics update from the service point or the last time the service point polled for policy changes (in milliseconds).
    • Connection state: The connection state of that service point.
    • Last known status: The status of the service point. The status can be one of the following:
      • Healthy: The service point is in a healthy state.
      • Unhealthy: The service point is in an unhealthy state.
      • Waiting for provisioning: The service point has been successfully created in the Edge Cloud and is waiting to be provisioned on a host.
      • Timed out: The service point timed out during provisioning. This can occur when the provisioning key expires before the service point is successfully provisioned or when the service point has never successfully connected to the Edge Cloud. Service point provisioning keys are only valid for 30 days.

        If this occurs, you must create a new service point.

      Tip: You can hover over the icon next to the status of the service point to display additional details about the status.
    • Current version: The version of the service point software that is currently running on the service point.
    • Available versions: The latest available platform version that can be applied to the service point.
    • Update status: The status of the last service point platform update. The status can be one of the following:
      • Update available
      • Update to <version> queued
      • Update to <version> running
      • Update to <version> failed
      Note: For more information on updating the service point platform version, refer to Updating Service Point v4 platform versions.
    • Host name: The hostname given to the service point.
    • IPv4 CIDR address: The IPv4 address assigned to the service point in CIDR format.
    • IPv4 Gateway address: The IPv4 address of the network gateway.
    • IPv6 CIDR address: The IPv6 address assigned to the service point in CIDR format.
    • IPv6 Gateway address: The IPv6 address of the network gateway.
    • DNS servers: The list of DNS servers used by the service point.
    • HTTP proxy: The IP address or FQDN of the proxy used by the service point.
    • Proxy user: The username used by the service point to authenticate with the proxy.
    • ID: The ID of the service point.
    • Connected services: The name of the DNS Resolver Service that is consumed by the service point. You can click the name of the DNS Resolver Service to load additional information about the service deployed.
