The following document is intended to assist you with getting started with BlueCat Horizon. The document does not cover all configuration scenarios. Complete information about configuring BlueCat Horizon and its applications can be found in the BlueCat Horizon User Guide.
This document will guide you through the following steps to set up BlueCat Horizon:
- Identify your tenant information, which you will need for authentication and API access.
- Open ports and check firewalls to make sure your machine can communicate with the cloud.
- Create users, groups, and roles for your team to manage your networks and services according to your business logic.
- Create connections, such as DDI agents, on the platform to connect your services to the cloud.
- Install DDI agents on your local machine to connect to the cloud.
- After installing your devices, verify that necessary components are running on your local machine.
- In the DDI orchestrator application, add your services, such as Windows DNS/DHCP, BIND DNS, ISC DHCP, ISC Kea DHCP, and others.
