You can create devices, assign interfaces to each device, and link IP addresses to the device interfaces. When adding a device, start by entering its basic information. Then, create the relevant interface(s) and optionally link one or more IP addresses to each interface.

You can also import devices and their interfaces into DDI orchestrator using the Import function. For instructions, refer to Importing devices.

To add a device manually:

  1. On the IPAM page, select the Devices tab.
  2. Select Add device in the task bar.
  3. In the dialog, enter the name of the device. The additional information required is based on the properties defined for the device.
  4. Select Save to create the device.
