DDI orchestrator enables you to copy and/or export data. You can select up to 500 rows to export or copy at a given time.

Note: In DDI orchestrator, it's possible to copy and/or export all kinds of data following the same process. This includes but is not limited to services, devices, records, and zones.

Exporting records

To export DNS records:

  1. Select the desired zone to view its records.
  2. Select the records you want to export.
  3. Use the ellipses in the row to select Export.
    The option to Export DNS records in the ellipses in the row.
  4. In the dialog, the File name field will be populated with DNS records, based on your selection.
  5. Select a file format from the Format dropdown. Choose from the following options:
    • Comma-separated values (.csv)
    • Tab-separated values (.tsv)
    • Excel spreadsheet (.xlsx)
  6. Select Download.

This file(s) will be downloaded to your local drive.

Copying records

To copy records:

  1. Select the desired zone to view its resource records.
  2. Select the records you want to copy.
  3. Use the ellipses in the row to select Copy.

The content from the row(s) you selected will be copied to your clipboard in tab-separated (.TSV) format.

Note: This is only available in environments running on localhost or that have HTTPS setup.
