On the Customer settings page, you can manage your customer-wide session, password, and change control settings. This includes setting your password policy and minimum password length, as well as whether a user is required to add a change control comment when they make changes on the platform and setting the maximum number of user sessions that can be active at a given time.
To edit your customer settings:
- Navigate to .
- Select Edit.
- In the dialog, edit your customer settings as needed:
- To require a change control comment for all changes made on the platform, check the Require change control comment checkbox.
- To edit the number of Maximum active user sessions, enter a number between 1 and 25 into the provided field. This setting applies to all users except the root user.
- To edit the Password policy, use the dropdown to
select one of the following policies:
- Fair: In addition to the minimum password length, this policy requires at least one lowercase letter, uppercase letter, and number.
- Good: In addition to all requirements for a
Fair password policy, this policy requires at least one special
character, (
!@#$%^&*). - Excellent: In addition to all requirements for a Good password policy, this policy requires that a password does not repeat a character twice in a row.
- To edit the Minimum password length, enter a number greater than or equal to eight (8) in the provided field. This is the minimum number of characters required for a password.
- Select Update.
The changes to your customer settings will be applied for all users on the platform and displayed on the Customer settings page.
