Editing custom properties

The process of editing a custom property is the same regardless of whether it's a cascading list property or not.

To edit a custom property:

1. Locate the custom property you want to edit.
2. Use the ellipses in the row to select Edit property.
3. In the dialog, edit the custom property as needed.
4. Select Save.

Editing cascading list options

You can edit the value options for cascading list properties. DDI orchestrator offers two different views—tree view and raw data view—which can be useful for different types of edits you may want to make.

To edit cascading list options:

1. Locate the cascading list property you want to edit.
2. Use the ellipses in the row to select Edit cascading list options.
3. In the dialog, edit the cascading list as necessary:
   Note: In complex cascading lists, in which there are more than one child property of the same parent, you can only edit one options list at a time. Before editing, select the child property for which you want to manage options in the Structure panel.

   You can use the Filter to locate the options whose values you want to modify.

   
   
   
   • Use the Tree view to manually edit the nested list manually. You can add, edit, or remove values for each nested list here, using the ellipses in the row. The Structure list on the left displays the available levels, with a blue tag next to the selected child property.
   • Use the Raw data to copy and paste options from an existing CSV file or spreadsheet in raw text format. The values should be separated by colons, that is, ParentOption:ChildOption. You can include multiple nested lists.
4. Select Save.

Removing custom properties

To remove a custom property:

1. Locate the custom property you want to remove.
2. Use the ellipses in the row to select Remove property.
3. In the confirmation dialog, select Remove.
