DDI orchestrator synchronizes DNS zones from the server on a regular basis. DDI orchestrator utilizes incremental zone transfers (IXFRs) to perform this synchronization as efficiently as possible for Active Directory integrated zones. However, you can force the full zone synchronization, using a full zone transfer (AXFR), if these incremental synchronizations become out-of-sync or as needed.
Note: This is only available for Active Directory integrated zones.
To force synchronization of a zone:
- On the DNS page, select AD integrated in the left sidebar to filter the list.
- Locate the DNS zone you want to synchronize.
- Use the ellipses in the row to select Force synchronization.
- In the confirmation dialog, select Yes.
DDI orchestrator will force a full synchronization with the DNS zone.
