Roles define what system objects users on the platform have permission to access. The platform comes with several built-in roles, but also enables you to create roles to meet your specific needs.
Before creating users, we recommend creating roles and defining permissions. We then recommend assigning these roles to groups and adding users to those groups. Users will inherit the roles and permissions assigned to their groups.
