Quick command speeds up common operations in DDI orchestrator and helps you find and perform actions on specific objects in the system.
Access quick command either by selecting the lightning icon in the top right corner of the screen or by using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl +
Space.
- Start entering one of the following in the quick command search bar:
- A network
- A DNS zone name
- A DNS record name
- An IP address
- A page name, such as DNS or Service management
- A full client identifier string
If a reservation, lease, or device interface exists with the client identifier, it will be displayed in the results.
A list of potential results will be displayed. If you search for a DNS object, the zone authority is displayed, so that you can distinguish between multiple results with the same name and select the correct object.
When searching for a client identifier, you must enter the full client identifier string in order to find the client identifier. For example, if you enter the string "11:22", quick command will not display reservations for the client identifier "11:22:33:44:55:66".
