When there is a new announcement on the BlueCat Horizon platform, the
bell icon
in the top right corner of the screen is marked with a red circle. Select the
icon to view a list of the new announcements. To view and read any new announcements,
either select View all announcements in the dropdown or select
Announcements in the navigation menu.
The Announcements page displays all active announcements on the platform. For each announcement, the following information is displayed:
- Title of the announcement
- Type, such as Feature release or Maintenance scheduled
- Impacted services, such as Horizon or DDI orchestrator
- Severity, which may be Low, Medium, High, or Critical
- Time when the announcement was published
- Read, either Yes or No
Using the filters, you can filter the announcements by either Type, Severity, or Read. You can also search for a specific announcement by entering its Title into the search bar.
To open an announcement, select its Title in the list. In the announcement, a description is provided, as well as a list of any impacted services, and when the announcement expires.
After reading an announcement, you can mark it as Read by selecting Mark as read.
You can also mark all active announcements as Read by selecting the Mark all as read button in the top right corner of the Announcements page.
