A configuration includes DNS zones, IP address space, servers, and all of the
settings used to control and manage the network. When logging into the Address Manager UI
for the first time, the only sidebar tabs that will be visible are Dashboard, Global, and
Settings. To populate the sidebar with the IPAM, DNS, Devices, and Servers tabs, you must
create a new configuration. For additional information on Address Manager configurations,
refer to Configurations.
To add or edit a configuration:

Select the Global tab in the sidebar, then select
Configurations.

Select New.

In the Name field, enter a name for the
configuration.
Note: The name you enter in this field is case-sensitive.

In the Description field, enter a description for the
configuration. This field is optional.

In the Configuration group field, enter a name for the
configuration group. Configuration groups allow you to filter configurations by
group in the configuration slider. This field is optional.

If you are setting up a shared network, enter a tag group in the Shared
network tag group field.

In the Change control
section, add comments if required.

Select Create.
