The Label Management tab (Devices > Label Management ) displays the list of system and custom labels. It allows you to rename or remove a user-created custom label. System labels are defined by the system and they cannot be modified.

  1. From the list, locate the label you want to modify. Then, click the vertical ellipsis icon corresponding to the label, and select Edit.
  2. From the Manage Labels page that is displayed, you can do the following:
    • Rename a label—Enter the new name in the Label Name field.
    • Remove a label—A label can only be removed if there are no devices attached and it does not have operations associated with it. The Label Constraints list provides the details. Review the list and remove the constraints, before deleting the label. Then, click Remove.
    • Remove devices from a label—The Label Devices column displays all the devices in your network, and a check mark next to the devices associated with the selected label. You can click the corresponding device name to remove the device from the label or click a device name to add it to the label.
  3. After you are done, click Save.
