The Address Manager Failover Client provides access to the Failover API in Address Manager.
The Failover API is an Address Manager service configuration that enables an externally-automated failover when the primary instance of Address Manager fails. Automated failover APIs make sure that the DDI infrastructure is readily available, with options for both manual and automated primary DNS server failover when an outage is detected.
For security reasons, the Failover Client always use HTTPS, even if the URL specifies an HTTP address. If no port is specified within the URL, the client will use port 8444.
For more details on the Failover API, see Failover API in the Address Manager Legacy v1 API Guide.
