Some BlueCat Server Update Services (BSUS) features (such as Configuration Templates) require the use of an Address Manager Service Account. You can use any user account in Address Manager, as long as it has the following attributes:
- User Access Type: Either API or GUI and API.
- User Access: Administrator
To specify which Address Manager account you want to use as the BSUS Service Account:
Within BSUS, click the Administration Tab, then click Service Account (under Authentication).
Enter the following:
In Username, enter the user name of the account.
In Password, enter that account's password.
Click Test to test the account connection, making changes as required.
When you're done, click Update to save your changes.
