You can import DNS/DHCP Servers managed by Address Manager into Cisco DNA Center as DNS Servers and DHCP Servers.



To import DNS/DHCP Servers into Cisco DNA Center
  1. Log in to your Cisco DNA Center instance.
  2. In the menu, select Design > Network Settings.
  3. In the Network Settings page, select the Network tab.
  4. Select Add Servers.
  5. Enter the following information:
    • If you are adding a DHCP Server, enter the following:
      • DHCP—enter the IP address of the BDDS that is running DHCP service.
      • Click the plus symbol (+) to add additional DHCP servers and enter the IP address of the additional DHCP servers in the Additional DHCP field.
    • If you are adding a DNS Server, enter the following:
      • Domain Name—enter the domain name of the BDDS that is running DNS service.
      • Primary—enter the IP address of the primary DNS server for that domain.
      • Click the plus symbol (+) to add a secondary DNS server and enter the IP address of the secondary server in the Secondary field.
    • Time Zone—select the time zone that your servers are operating in.
    • Message of the day—enter a message of the day banner for the selected servers.
    • Do not override the existing MOTD banner on the device—select this checkbox to ensure that any existing MOTD banners configured on the servers are not overridden by the message of the day banner configured in Cisco DNA Center.
  6. Click Save.
