When setting up and editing discovery or visibility on Microsoft Azure, you can configure the Microsoft Azure credentials, configuration options, and other discovery and visibility options that Cloud Discovery & Visibility (CDV) uses when performing operations on Azure infrastructures..
You will need to configure these settings when first setting up discovery or visibility. Later, you can update settings for the Schedule manager (for Discovery) or Visibility manager (for Visibility) as needed.
Available settings for Azure infrastructures are as follows:
-
Azure job settings: Azure credentials: Settings that let you configure the service account that CDV uses to access the Azure infrastructure.
-
Azure job settings: Configuration options: Settings that let you specify how CDV creates BlueCat Address Manager "Configurations" when importing Azure resources.
-
Azure job settings: Discovery options: (Advanced setup only) Settings that let you specify in more detail the resources imported into Address Manager.
-
Azure job settings: Azure Monitoring options: Settings that let you specify how (or if) you want CDV to keep the set of imported resources up to date with future changes in the Azure infrastructure. If you choose Real time updates, CDV creates a Visibility manager with one or more Visibility jobs.
