Exporting the Cloud Discovery & Visibility database - Adaptive Applications - BlueCat Gateway - 25.3

You can export the Cloud Discovery & Visibility database to a local file. When you save the database, you can enter a custom file name and password to encrypt the file.

To export the database:

1. From the Cloud Discovery & Visibility UI, click at the top of the page and choose Export database.

2. (Optional) Under Filename, enter the name of the backup file that you want to export. If left empty, the file name is randomly generated.

   Attention: Do not modify the file name after you save it locally. Doing so can cause failures when importing the database.

3. (Optional) Under Password, enter a password that will be used to encrypt the database file. If you leave this field empty, the Gateway secret key is used to encrypt the file.

4. Click Export.

   To cancel the operation, click Cancel.

Cloud Discovery & Visibility generates the database backup file and downloads it to your browser.
