Cloud Discovery & Visibility (CDV) imports load balancers as devices. CDV supports importing of load balancers with network endpoint groups and buckets. CDV applies network endpoint groups for all balancers, while buckets apply only to the global external Application Load Balancer.
Load balancers are imported with the following name syntax. Any spaces in field names are replaced with hyphens:
<Load balancer name>-<Region>-<Load balancer type>-<Protocols>-<Access type>
<Region>: The load balancer's region. If the load balancer is global or cross-regional,<Region>will useglobal.<Load balancer type>: The type of load balancer, including its subtype if applicable (such asNetwork-(passthrough)).<Protocols>: The protocol used by the load balancer, such astcporhttp. If the load balancer supports multiple protocols,(multiple-protocols)is used.<Access type>: Typically, this is eitherinternalorexternal.
