In the following example, two VM Instances have been created on GCP with the same VPC network. When imported into Address Manager, the VM instances are created as devices with the same VM Instance device subtype
If the VM Instance in GCP has associated subnets, that information is also included in the virtual machine device data. The following example illustrates the associated subnets of a virtual machine as they appear in Address Manager.
In the IP Space tab, you can navigate to the network level and find IP addresses that have been assigned to virtual machines based on their associated IP address configured in GCP. The following image displays an IPv4 network with IP addresses associated to virtual machines.
If the virtual machine contains multiple alias IP ranges, CDV creates an ALIAS IP RANGES UDF to the virtual machine device that displays the alias IP ranges associated to that virtual machine. In the following example, a virtual machine has been created in GCP with multiple alias IP ranges:
