When setting up and editing a manager for discovery or visibility on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), you can configure the GCP service account, configuration options, and other discovery and visibility options that Cloud Discovery & Visibility (CDV) uses when performing operations on GCP infrastructures..
You will need to configure these settings when first setting up discovery or visibility. Later, you can update settings for the Schedule manager (for Discovery) or Visibility manager (for Visibility) as needed.
Available settings for GCP infrastructures are as follows:
-
GCP job settings: GCP service account: Settings that let you configure the service account that CDV uses to access the GCP infrastructure.
-
GCP job settings: Configuration options: Settings that let you specify how CDV creates BlueCat Address Manager "Configurations" when importing GCP resources.
-
GCP job settings: Discovery options: (Advanced setup only) Settings that let you specify in more detail the resources imported into Address Manager.
-
GCP job settings: Monitoring options: Settings that let you specify how (or if) you want CDV to keep the set of imported resources up to date with future changes in the GCP infrastructure. If you choose Real time updates, CDV creates a Visibility manager with one or more Visibility jobs.
