After you back up the database file locally, you can import it to another instance of Cloud Discovery & Visibility.
To import the database:
-
From the Cloud Discovery & Visibility UI, click
at the top of the page and choose Import database.
-
Click the Upload button, then browse to and select the database file to upload.
-
To overwrite the database's existing data and schema where there's a conflict, tick the Overwrite Mode checkbox.
-
In Password, enter the password (if the exported database file was encrypted with a password).
-
When you're done, click Import.
Note: After importing a database, you must manually restart scheduled discoveries or visibility managers that you still want to run. To do so, go to the Discovery or Visibility page, select the checkbox for the discovery or visibility operations you want to start, then click . Alternatively, you can click on the icon with the 3 vertical dots on the far right for the discovery or visibility that you want to start, then select Start from the context menu that appears.
