24.1.1

In addition to new features, fixed issues, and breaking changes described elsewhere, Cloud Discovery & Visibility v24.1.1 includes the following changes to existing features.

(AWS) Organization-level discoveries now flagged as completed regardless of whether accounts were found

As of v24.1.1, during Organization-level discoveries, scheduled discovery jobs will no longer fail because no accounts that fit the specified criteria were discovered. The user will be warned that no accounts are found, but the job itself will be marked as COMPLETED and will automatically rerun at the specified time interval.

Note: Discovery Jobs might still fail for other reasons.

(AWS) Visibility now supports EC2 instance attaching and detaching

As of CDV v24.1.1, discovery and visibility on AWS infrastructures now supports cases where users can attach or detach an network interface to an EC2 instance while a visibility job is running.

When attaching or detaching an ENI from an EC2 Instance (where an IP is assigned or unassigned, if appropriate VM and ENI options are selected) the ENI attach/detach/update message will be ignored. Instead, it will generate a message for the EC2 instance with a status of UPDATE.
