Once logged in, the dashboard appears with an option to manually register a device in the top right-hand corner.

The dashboard view is split into four tabs with separate lists containing all registered and unregistered devices, guest users, as well as blocked devices.

By default, each tab shows a list of ten devices per page. Each device in the list has its own menu, located behind the three dots on the right-hand side of each device. The menu is used to perform actions like register, block, delete devices, change the expiration dates, etc.

Search

The search bar located under each tab helps you find and manage the relevant devices. You can search by username, MAC or IP address of the device. While search is case-insensitive, the following fields require matching:

  • Username, First name, Last name - Partial ("contains") match is supported.
  • MAC address - Partial ("starts with") and full match are supported.
  • IP address - Only full match is supported.
Tip:
  • A minimum of three non-whitespace characters are required to execute a search.
  • Unsupported (, ( ) [ ] { } \) and wildcard characters are not permitted.
  • Search by username or MAC address may be restricted per group.

Filter and sort

Filters can be used independently or in combination with search. They apply to the entire dataset and persist until cleared by the user.

Date filters relate to a device's expiration date. You can select a specific date or date range as a filter to the Registered, Unregistered, and list of Guest devices, but only the Registered devices can be filtered by the number of days in which their registration expires.

Device type allows multiple selection and is applicable for Registered, Unregistered, and Guest lists.

The arrow icons allow sorting of devices in an ascending or a descending order, as required, using the dates of their expiry.
