Settings in the BlueCat Address Manager section of the General configuration page let you configure the list of Gateway's connections with its Address Manager servers. It is available only when authenticating Gateway with Address Manager.

Note: While you can configure multiple Address Manager server connections, Gateway can connect to only one at a time.

To edit BlueCat Address Manager settings:

  1. Open the General Configuration window. (Click Settings at the bottom of the navigator on the left, expand Configurations, then click General configuration.)

The General configuration page opens. If the BlueCat Address Manager settings are not displayed click BlueCat Address Manager to scroll to it.

  2. To modify the list of Address Manager servers:

To add a new Address Manager server to the list:

    1. Click Add Address Manager.

    2. In the window that appears, fill in the fields for the new server.

For more details, see BlueCat Address Manager settings below.

    3. When you're done, click Add.

To cancel adding the server, click Cancel.

To prioritize the list of added Address Manager servers and set the default server:

    • In the server's entry in the list, click the Up or Down button to move the server up or down in the list, respectively.

The default Address Manager server is the first one in the list.

To remove an Address Manager server from the list:

    • In the server's entry in the list, click the Delete button.

Attention: Use caution when removing Address Manager servers.

If you remove any configured Address Manager server (not just the primary one) that is being used to authenticate BlueCat Gateway, the system will terminate all user sessions connected to that Address Manager server and redirect you to the login page.

  3. Optionally, specify the default Address Manager configuration and DNS view.

For more details, see BlueCat Address Manager settings below.

  4. When you're done, click Save changes.

To cancel your changes, click Cancel.
