  1. Log in to BlueCat Gateway.

  2. Select Administration > Email/External DB Configuration.

  3. Click Credentials.

  4. Enter the account names of the mail accounts that BlueCat Gateway will use.

If you're using regular Flask Mail, in Mail Username, enter the username of the Flask-Mail account.

If you're using Mongo, in Mongo Username, enter the username of the Flask-PyMongo account.

  5. If you're using regular Flask Mail, click Mail Password Settings and set the password with one of the following methods:

    • To use a file, select Mail Password Path, then click Choose File to select an encoded file that contains the Flask-Mail password. This password will be saved into the BlueCat Gateway configuration to be used with the Mail Service.

Note: After the Flask-Mail password path is defined, BlueCat Gateway will use that file by default. If the password path is not defined or the file is missing in the defined path, the value for the Mail Password will be None.

You cannot upload password files larger than 1MB.

    • Select Mail Password to enter the Flask-Mail password manually.

  6. If you're using Mongo, click Mongo Password Settings and set the Mongo password with one of the following methods:

    • To use a file, select Mongo Password Path, and then click Choose File to select an encrypted file that contains the Flask-PyMongo password. This password will then be saved into the BlueCat Gateway configuration to be used with MongoDB Service.

Note: After the Flask-PyMongo password path is defined, BlueCat Gateway will use that file by default. If the password path is not defined or the file is missing in the defined path, the value for the Mongo Password will be None.

You cannot upload files larger than 1MB.

    • Select Mongo Password to enter the Flask-PyMongo password manually.

  7. When you're done, click Save.
