The first section of settings on the General configuration page has settings that depend on the type of authentication platform to which Gateway is connected. (BlueCat Address Manager, Micetro, or using Standalone authentication)

  • When using BlueCat Address Manager (BAM) for authentication, you can configure information on BAM instances that BlueCat Gateway can connect to. You can also specify a default Address Manager Configuration or View.

  • When using Micetro for authentication, you can configure information on Micetro instances that BlueCat Gateway can connect to.

  • When using BlueCat Gateway Standalone authentication, you can configure the session timeout interval, which specifies how long a user session lasts with no activity before the session terminates and the user would have to log back in to Gateway.

Note: If you passed an Address Manager or Micetro server IP address as an environment variable when first setting up BlueCat Gateway, Gateway will display the IP address in the General Configuration workflow.
