User permissions in BlueCat Gateway are derived partly from the
configuration in BlueCat Gateway itself, and partly from Address Manager user-defined field (UDF) values. Create a UDF for BlueCat Gateway users
called 'BlueCatGateway' in Address Manager for this purpose.
Note:
You can now set the default value for the UDF starting in Address Manager v9.2.0.
Attention:
PortalGroup UDF is deprecated
The PortalGroup UDF is deprecated and replaced with BlueCatGateway UDF. So, the configurations of Address Manager must use the BlueCatGateway UDF. If you have a previously configured Address Manager for an earlier version of BlueCat Gateway, change the PortalGroup UDF to BlueCatGateway UDF immediately to ensure continued operation and functionality.
