To add a deployment role
  1. Select the DNS tab.
  2. Select the name of the view where the GSS Adaptive Application will interact with Address Manager.
  3. Under Top Level Domains, click bluecat.
  4. Select the Deployment Roles tab.
  5. Under Deployment Roles, click New > DNS Role.
  6. Under Role, set the Type to Primary.
  7. Under Select Server Interface, select the DNS/DHCP Server that will be used as the DNS Primary server.
  8. Under Change Control, add comments to describe your changes.
  9. Click Add.

Once you have created the deployment role, perform a DNS deployment to the DNS/DHCP Server to add the configurations.
