Once you have configured the DNS settings on Address Manager, you can proceed to
configure the GSS workflow.
To set up GSS:
- Log in to BlueCat Gateway.
- Under AVAILABLE ACTIONS, click .
- Under Scheduler, set the following parameters:
- Name—enter the name of the BlueCat Gateway user.
- Password—enter the password of the BlueCat Gateway user.
- Under DNS, set the following parameters:
- Server—enter the IP address of the Primary DNS server where GSS will be sending the dynamic updates.
- Key—enter the TSIG Key information that will be
used to authenticate the dynamic updates in the following
format:
<hmac>:<key_name>:<key>
Where <hmac> is the algorithm used for the TSIG key, <key_name> is the name of the TSIG key, and <key> is the key itself.
- Under Configuration, set the following parameters:
- Configuration—enter the name of the Configuration in Address Manager that will be used when searching for GSS-enabled applications.
- View—enter the name of the View in Address Manager that will be used when searching for GSS-enabled applications.
- Click Submit to save your changes.
