Once you have configured the DNS settings on Address Manager, you can proceed to
configure the GSS workflow.
To set up GSS:
- Log in to BlueCat Gateway.
- Under AVAILABLE ACTIONS, click .
- Under ACL Scheduler, set the following parameters:
- Name—enter the name of the BlueCat Gateway user.
- Password—enter the password of the BlueCat Gateway user.
- Under DNS, set the following parameters:
- Server—select the IP address of the Primary DNS
server where GSS will be sending dynamic updates.Note: This field is read-only and populated by the IP addresses of the DNS servers that were entered when executing the
docker run
command to start the GSS container.
- Server—select the IP address of the Primary DNS
server where GSS will be sending dynamic updates.
- Under Configuration, set the following parameters:
- GSS Region—enter the name of the GSS health-check region that this instance will update.
- Configuration—enter the name of the Configuration in Address Manager that will be used when searching for GSS-enabled applications.
- Key—enter the name of the TSIG Key that will be used to authenticate the dynamic updates.
- View—enter the name of the View in Address Manager that will be used when searching for GSS-enabled applications.
- Click Submit to save your changes.
