By default, the Hybrid DNS Update workflows are configurable by users that are members of the all Gateway group. If you have other BlueCat Gateway users that will interact with this workflow or would like to restrict access, you must configure the workflow permissions.

To configure the workflow permissions:

  1. Log in to BlueCat Gateway.
  2. Under AVAILABLE ACTIONS, click Administration > Workflow Permissions.
  3. In the Workflows list, select Hybrid DNS Update.
  4. Select hybrid_update_page (all).
  5. Under the Group Name/UDF value list, select the appropriate user group.
  6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 to configure the appropriate permissions for server_credential_page (all), installation_page (all), and rest_page (all).
  7. Click ADD.
The Installation and Server Credentials workflows appears under Hybrid DNS Update in the AVAILABLE ACTIONS navigation bar for the selected BlueCat Gateway users. You can now proceed to configure the workflow.
