This page provides a centralized overview of all discovered network devices in the monitored environment. Each entry displays key identifiers and quick health indicators for device metrics. In large networks, maintaining visibility over all managed devices helps identify early signs of degradation or misconfiguration. High latency, frequent flapping, or devices going unreachable often indicate routing issues, hardware failure, or management plane overload.
Multi-device health dashboard overview
This dashboard provides a network-wide health summary across all monitored devices, grouped by device type. It is designed for NOC-level visibility, giving instant awareness of which parts of the network are healthy, degraded, or in critical condition before drilling down into individual device pages. Think of it as your “network weather map”.
Each widget represents one device class, aggregates all devices of that type, and uses the following color-coding to represent device health:
| Severity | Color | Description | Typical causes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Healthy | Green | Device reachable, metrics within limits | Normal operation |
| Cautionary | Yellow | Warning threshold exceeded (CPU, memory, interface flaps) | Moderate performance issues |
| Critical | Red | Device unreachable or major service failure | SNMP loss, high CPU, link down, PSU/fan fault |
It is used to:
- Detect widespread outages or performance issues.
- Identify which device category or location is affected.
- Prioritize troubleshooting by severity and impact.
