On the license server, navigate to your extracted redistributable tools folder (redistr_linux/tools).
First, print out the contents of echoid.dat to ensure that the locking criteria (found at the bottom) is 0x2010. This should be the default, but if troubleshooting, ensure the file hasn’t been modified.
Run `./echoid64` for 64-bit systems.
We care about the first Locking Code (not the old style). Ensure that it starts with “2010-”, this tells us that we are using the correct locking criteria. If this does not say “2010-”, then modify the bottom ofechoid.dat to be 0x2010 and re-run the utility.
Copy everything after the “-”, in this case that would be “*1GW 8AHC TFDC X5DF”. Save this locking code somewhere convenient so you never have to run echoid64 again for this server.
