The following section outlines how to apply the Remote Capture Engine license to the floating license server.
Before you begin:
Before you begin, ensure that you have logged into MyPeek to obtain your Remote Capture Engine product key. This will be required to enter the license.
- In the left navigation of LiveAdmin, click Omni. The Omni page appears.
- Within the Omni page, select License Server.
- Select the Activate tab.
- Enter the following information:
- Product Key: enter the product key for the RCE license that you retrieved from MyPeek.
- Version: enter the product version that you are installing.
- Name: enter the name of the person who purchased the RCE license.
- Email: enter the email of the person who purchased the RCE license.
- Company: enter the name of the company that is using the RCE.
- Click OK.
The floating license server begins validating the license information. Once the license has been activated, the following message appears:
Successfully activated product key and installed on license server. Installed 1/1
features from file. There were 0 duplicate features.
Validating the RCE license
You can validate that the license was successfully applied through the Features tab.
Select the Features tab to retrieve the list of features.
From the image, you can determine that the license has been activated for 1000 users.
