The Captures view lets you view and maintain captures. The initial view is empty until you create a capture by selecting New Capture.
- Search: Lets you search the list of captures by entering a text string.
- New Capture: Lets you create one of the following types of
captures:
- New Capture: Select to create a capture based on settings that you configure. All of the available capture options are listed under New Capture.
- New "LiveFlow Capture": Select to create a capture based on settings optimized to capture LiveFlow telemetry. A LiveFlow capture enables capture-to-disk. A LiveFlow capture does not allow you to configure capture settings for Triggers, Analysis, Graphs, and Reporting capture options. See the capture options listed under New Capture.
- New "Forensics Capture": Select to create a capture based on settings optimized for a forensics search. A Forensics capture enables capture-to-disk. See the capture options listed under New Capture.
- New "Monitoring Capture": Select to create a capture based on settings optimized for monitoring packets. A Monitoring capture disables capture-to-disk and enables Analysis. See the capture options listed under New Capture.
- Start All: Select to start all captures displayed in the view.
- Stop All: Select to stop all captures displayed in the view.
- Delete All: Select to delete all captures displayed in the view.
- List View: Select to display captures as a list.
- Table View: Select to display captures as a table.
- Refresh: Select to refresh the view.
