The following section outlines how to enable the floating license server on the LiveWire host through LiveAdmin.

Attention: Known Issue

Currently, a known issue exists where the license server service does not restart upon restarting LiveWire. Once the LiveWire restarts or reboots, you must re-enable the license server service.

To enable the floating license server:
  1. Log in to the LiveAdmin utility page of the LiveWire host.

    You can log in to LiveAdmin by entering the IP address of the LiveWire host and port 8443 in your browser window. For example, https://192.168.1.10:8443 where 192.168.1.10 is the IP address of the LiveWire host.

  2. On the Dashboard page, under Service Details, select the play button next to the lserv64 service to enable the floating license service.

Once you have enabled the floating license server, you can proceed to activate the Remote Capture Engine license.
