The Filters settings let you enable or disable filters used when capturing packets. Select the filters you want to enable and then click Accept Matching Any, Accept Matching All, or Reject Matching.
Important: The list of filters is the filters from the
LiveWire control point, not the LiveWire RCE where the capture resides. You can only
select filters for this capture on the LiveWire RCE from the filters list on the
LiveWire control point. If the capture on the LiveWire RCE is using filters that are not
on the LiveWire control point, those filters will be removed upon clicking
OK to confirm the capture engine changes.
Filters that are applied to the LiveWire RCE capture that do not exist on the LiveWire control point will not appear in the filters list.
- Accept Matching Any: When you choose Accept Matching Any, only those packets which match the parameters of at least one of the enabled filters are placed into the capture buffer.
- Accept Matching All: When you choose Accept Matching All, only those packets which match the parameters of all the enabled filters are placed into the capture buffer.
- Reject Matching: When you choose Reject Matching, only those packets which do not match any of the enabled filters are placed into the capture buffer.
- Enable All: Select to enable all filters.
- Disable All: Select to disable all filters.
