Packet files that have been captured on a LiveWire RCE can be moved to the LiveWire control point for analysis.
Note: This option is unavailable if:
  • There are no files to move to the LiveWire control point.
  • The capture is currently running on the RCE.
  • There is a copy or move operation in progress.
  • You do not have permissions to move files from the RCE to the LiveWire control point (required Download Files and Delete Files ACL).
To move capture files from an RCE to the LiveWire control point
  1. From the Engines list, select the in the row of the LiveWire RCE that you would like to move the files from and select Move files. The Move capture files dialog appears with the capture options.
  2. On the Move capture files pop-up, enter the following information:
    • Files Group Name: enter the group name that the LiveWire capture files will be grouped under in the files view of the LiveWire control point.
    • Start time: enter start time of the capture files that you would like to move to the other LiveWire control point.
    • End time: enter end time of the capture files that you would like to move to the other LiveWire control point.
      Note: Under Presets, you can select the time frame of the capture files that you would like to move to the LiveWire control point. You can select the following Preset times:
      • Today
      • Yesterday
      • This week
      • Last week
      • This month
      Additionally, you can set the following Relative times based on the current time of the LiveWire control point:
      • Last 60 seconds
      • Last 5 minutes
      • Last 30 minutes
      • Last 1 hour
      • Last 24 hours
      • Last 7 days
      • Last 1 month
  3. Click OK.

Once you click OK, LiveWire begins to move the files to the LiveWire control point. You can view the progress of the files being moved in the status dialog.
