The locking code is used to lock a license to a specific host. In a node-locked license, the locking code comes from LiveWire. For floating licenses, because the licenses are installed on the license server, we need the locking code from the server itself, which requires an extra step.
To retrieve the locking code
- In the left navigation of LiveAdmin, click Omni. The Omni page appears.
- Within the Omni page, select License Server.
- Select the Locking Code tab.
- Click the copy icon in the locking code field to copy the locking code to your clipboard.
