If you modified the Authentication Group Secret on the LiveWire control point for any reason, all connections to the group engine and RCEs are severed due to the mismatch in group secrets. To re-establish this connection, you must synchronize the changes made to the Authentication Group Secret to the group engines and RCEs, ensuring that they all use the updated group secret.
To synchronize Authentication Group Secrets across all group engines
- From the LiveWire control point, under Engines, select Synchronize.
- On the Synchronize Group Engines pop-up, enter the
following:
- Authentication Group Secret for Group Engines—the old Authentication Group Secret that was previously used to establish the connection with the group engines and RCEs.
- Click Sync.
Once you click Sync, the LiveWire control point synchronizes the
Authentication Group Secret changes to all group engines and RCEs.
Attention: Group engines and RCEs will restart after the
Authentication Group Secret has been successfully pushed.
