After an xHA cluster has been created, it's possible to edit its ping address and/or backbone configuration. The assigned private IP addresses specified during creation, however, are not editable.
To edit an xHA cluster:
- Navigate to .
- Locate the appliance that is the cluster's active node in the data grid and then use the Action menu to select Edit xHA cluster.
- In the dialog, you can edit any of the following fields:
- Ping address: An optional IP address set as the ping address for the cluster.
- Enable xHA backbone: If the checkbox is selected, you can disable xHA backbone communication by unselecting the checkbox. If you enable or have already enabled xHA backbone communication, the following fields must be completed and can be edited.
- Backbone address on node 1
- Backbone address on node 2
- Backbone subnet netmask
- Select Save.
