To access the Logs page from the BlueCat Gateway UI, click Network Discovery on the left sidebar and select Logs from the list of available pages.
The logs page displays a table that contains the latest logs pertaining to general management or a specific probe. Activities and events from Network Discovery are logged in log files. These logs include errors and failures, but can also include successful and unsuccessful connections, starting and stopping of jobs, and more.
The toolbar at the top of the table contains various icons that enable you to perform the
following actions:
- View logs—By default, the Log page displays the latest management logs. To view the latest logs for a specific probe, select the probe from the drop down list.
- Change the log level—Select a log level from the list to display only the logs pertaining to the selected level. By default, logs of the level INFO are displayed. The other log levels available are NOTSET, DEBUG, INFO, WARNING, ERROR, and CRITICAL.
- Display the latest logs—Click the reload icon to refresh the log data displayed in the table. The latest logs are displayed for the selected entity and log level.
- Download the logs—Click the download icon to download the latest logs.
