Reconciliation Policies are typically applied on a schedule, but you can run them on-demand when needed.
To run a Reconciliation Policy:

From the BlueCat Gateway UI, click Network Discovery on the left sidebar.
A list of available pages is displayed.

From this list, select either IPv4 Reconciliation Policies or IPv6 Reconciliation Policies depending on your requirement.
Based on your selection, the IPv4 Reconciliation Policies or IPv6 Reconciliation Policies page is displayed.

From the list of displayed reconciliation policies, click the table entry for the policy that you want to run.
The Policy-name page appears, displaying the following sections:-
The details such as policy name, probe name, activation status (Yes or No), and discovery status are displayed at the top of the panel.

Schedule—Select Run now to run the policy at the current time. Alternatively, select Schedule to run the policy at a later time. Specify the date and time at which you want to run the policy and select the frequency at which you want to run the policy. Select Once to run the policy only once or Every to repeat it at a specific interval.
Click Activate to activate the policy. The activation status in the details section changes to Yes. Alternatively, if you want to deactivate a policy, click Deactivate.
Note: If a policy is already activated, the Activate button is not displayed. Similarly, if a policy is currently inactive, the Deactivate button is not displayed.The policy details are updated in BlueCat Address Manager (BAM).

Click Submit.
At the scheduled time, Network Discovery starts running the policy.
When the policy is run, the Discovery Status in the details section displays the current status of the policy. Make sure you wait at least 1 minute for the JSON file to be updated in the BAM user interface. After the policy is run:
- History—This section displays the history of the reconciliation policy job. Click the reload icon to refresh the history. The Discovery Status in the details section is updated accordingly.
- Log—This section displays the latest logs for the policy. You can select a log level from the list to view logs pertaining to that level. Click the reload icon to refresh the log data. Click the download icon to download the logs.
