The Address Space tab displays a table with available IP block or IP networks, depending on the selection in the Tree view.

If the selected block contains both block and network child elements, you can use the picker (displayed on the upper right side of the table) to choose only block or network child elements to be displayed in the table.

Block View

If you select an IP block from the tree view, information about available IP networks is displayed.

From the table, you can perform the following actions.

Field Description
Add Network Click the Add Network button to display a pop-up that allows you to create a new network within the IP block.
Address Name Displays the name of the IP network.
Actions Clicking on the ellipses icon displays the Actions button with the following options:
  • Edit - displays a pop-up that allows you to edit available fields of the selected IP network.

  • Apply Template - displays a pop-up that allows you to apply an existing template to the selected IP network.

Network View

If you select an IP network from the tree view, information about available addresses for the selected network is displayed.

From the table, you can perform the following actions.

Field Description
Apply Template Click the Apply Template button to display a pop-up that allows you to apply an existing template to the selected network
Address Name Displays the name of the IP address.
IP Address Displays the IP address.
State Displays the state of the IP address, as defined in Address Manager.
Type Displays the type of IP address.
Actions Clicking on the ellipses icon displays the Actions button with the following options:
  • If the IP address is assigned, the following option is available:
    • Edit - displays a pop-up that allows you to change the state of the selected address.

    • Delete - displays a popup that allows you to delete the selected IP address (only DHCP Reserved and Reserved IP addresses can be deleted). In addition, the pop-up contains a checkbox that you can select if you want to delete the associated MAC addresses from the MAC pool.
      Note: Only Admin users and users with Write permissions can delete DHCP Reserved and Reserved IP addresses.
  • If the IP address is unassigned, the following options are available:
    • Assign - displays a pop-up that allows you to assign the selected address by setting the following fields:
      • Name - the name of the address.

      • State - the state of the address.

If a user makes changes to a network that is approval managed, an approval request is created per individual action (add, edit, delete) and displayed in the Approval lifecycle table. The changes are applied to the network only after an administrator or approver approves the corresponding request.
